Customer Accounts & Price Alerts
If you create an account (for price alerts or dealer mode), we collect only what you enter on the signup form: email, name, and phone number. A shipping address is optional — provide it only if you want it to auto-fill our forms. Authentication uses one-time sign-in links sent to your email; we do not store passwords.
Account-related emails we may send:
- Transactional — sign-in links, email-change confirmations, security notices, account-deletion confirmations. These cannot be turned off while your account is active because they keep your account secure.
- Price alerts — only when alerts you have created actively fire. Throttled to one email every 90 seconds per account. You can pause all alert emails from your profile or click the one-click unsubscribe link in any alert email.
- Marketing — deals, market commentary, new products. Opt-in only at signup or in your profile; defaulted off; unsubscribe at any time.
We do not embed open- or click-tracking pixels in any email. The only cookie we set is aurora_sess, which is essential for keeping you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the account, profile, or alerts pages.
Deleting your account: from your profile page you can request account deletion. We email you a confirmation containing a 30-day cancellation link; after 30 days the account, all alerts, settings, and consent history are permanently removed.
Consent history: every time you grant or revoke a notification permission (alerts, marketing, terms acceptance), we record an entry in your consent ledger. You can request your full ledger from your profile page.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal information.
